One of the biggest takeaways from the new leak is that the Snapdragon 730 will supposedly be manufactured on Samsung's 8nm Low-Power Plus (LPP) process node which the South Korean tech giant finalized in October.

Qualcomm has now let slip that a new platform will be announced this autumn alongside a lead smartwatch. Following that, the current Snapdragon 2100 was only slightly more modified with changes to packaging, sensors, and software.

Google focused instead on selling the aging technology via established watch and fashion brands: Guess, Hugo BOSS, Tommy Hilfiger, Louis Vuitton, and Armani all sell branded Google Wear OS wrist-bling.

The new Qualcomm chipset will be unveiled this fall, along with a flagship device in the category. In relation to battery life, Kedia elaborated further going on to say "You'll see improved battery life when interacting with the watch, but also more importantly, when you're not".
