Google Using Artificial Intelligence To Help With Simple, Necessary Tasks

Google recently showcased its latest developments in Android, Google Assistant, Google Maps, Google Photos, and artificial intelligence.

"Say you connect your headphones to your device, Android will surface an action to resume your favourite Spotify playlist", Google explains in a blog post. With Google Assistant integration, you can quickly get your transit updates and traffic details using your voice commands. Android P beta's expansion outside Google's own hardware.

"We understand and value the discussion around Google Duplex, as we have said from the beginning, transparency in the technology is important", a Google spokesperson was quoted as saying.

Chris Messina, a product designer who previously worked for Google, tweeted: "Google Duplex is the most incredible, terrifying thing out of #IO18 so far". The feature will start rolling out this month. The new feature roll's out next month.

The feature should be available to everyone by next week.

The goal of the functionality was so that users could know which apps were consuming too much battery. Instead, you can now control when your phone screen rotates. This makes Chrome OS feel more like a tablet-first device, similar to how Apple implemented drag-and-drop sharing on the iPad Pro. Owners of some Android phones-none from Samsung-can get an early test version now. Android P also got a new and refreshed look.

Another distinguishing feature of Android P is that if you put it over a surface, facing down, it will automatically switch to the "Do Not Disturb" mode until you pick it up and flip over.
