Drake with Migos bringing tour to Philly

You can add another of the world's biggest rappers to the Twin Cities summer concert calendar: Drake has confirmed an August 1 date at Xcel Energy Center on his newly announced 2018 tour.

This probably means there's no OVO Fest this year in Toronto, but here's an excellent consolation prize: Drake is doing two shows at the Air Canada Centre, Aug. 10 and 11, with Migos opening.

The "Aubrey and The Three Amigos Tour" will arrive at the Sprint Center on July 31.

Drake recently collaborated with Migos on their single Walk It Talk It.

Featuring rappers Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff, Migos are one of rap's hottest acts, with their album Culture II shooting to No. 1 when it dropped in January. Their popular singles include 2013's Versace and 2016's Bad and Boujee.

Tickets go on sale to the general public starting Friday. Pre-sale options start Tuesday.

Tickets begin at $59.50 plus service charges and range up to $199.50 plus service charges.
