Ten players in the 2018 NBA Draft who fit the Cavaliers

For the first time, the National Basketball Association will hold their annual draft lottery in Chicago, as the selections will be announced at 6:30 PM on Tuesday at the Palmer House Hilton.

"We put the finest minds we've got on this one, and this is what they came up with", Williams told the Orlando Sentinel.

Every team that doesn't make the playoffs is in the lottery.

Boston still will have a presence in Chicago for Tuesday's lottery in the off chance of a miracle: Team president Rich Gotham will be in the main stage area, while assistant general manager Mike Zarren will be in the drawing room.

"I'll keep that very, very, very close. We've taken everything up there". The team with the highest lottery odds is guaranteed at top four pick and the team with the lowest odds will end up with the 14th pick unless it gets one of the top three picks. The Lakers, who finished with the NBA's 10th-worst record, have just a 1.3 percent chance of landing the No. 2 pick and a 1.58 percent chance at the No. 3 pick. Arizona big man DeAndre Ayton, Slovenian shooting guard Luka Doncic, Duke power forward Marvin Bagley III and Michigan State center Jaren Jackson Jr. are all projected as potential franchise-changers. Inasmuch as you believe in lucky totems, they probably can only do much good if they're present for the actual event in quetion. So far, only Oladipo has developed into an All-Star, but Oladipo reached All-Star status as a member of the Indiana Pacers. The No. 20 pick is via Oklahoma City.

The C's will receive the Lakers' pick if it lands second through fifth.
