Trump Paid More Than $100000 To Cohen, Financial Disclosure Confirms

Tuesday was the deadline for Donald Trump to file a required ethics form called the "Executive Branch Personnel Public Financial Disclosure Report", which includes a list of all personal liabilities in excess of $10,000.

Cohen paid Daniels US$130,000 in hush money shortly before the presidential election on November 8, 2016; Cohen said he used his own home equity line of credit to afford it, and Trump previously denied knowledge of the payment.

At the time, Giuliani told host Sean Hannity that Trump reimbursed Cohen the $130,000 he paid to Daniels in exchange for her silence about an alleged sexual encounter with Trump in 2006. This means that the ethics office deemed that the payment to Cohen, made in 2016, should have been reported a year ago.

This is a developing story. And the request was that the president be the first person in history to file a financial disclosure report without having to certify it was true. A footnote in tiny type on page 45 of the 92 page document says the president "fully reimbursed" Cohen for "expenses" ranging from $100,001 to $250,000.

"Mr. Cohen sought reimbursement of those expenses and Mr. Trump fully reimbursed Mr. Cohen in 2017", the report states. "Mr. Trump's disclosure today conclusively proves that the American people were deceived by Mr. Cohen, Mr. Trump, Mr. Schwartz, the WH, and Mr. Giuliani", Avenatti said.

The watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington made a request on March 8 for the Department of Justice and the Office of Government Ethics to investigate whether Cohen's payment constituted a loan that Trump meant to repay - something he would of then had to report on the financial disclosure form he filed a year ago. But then Mr. Trump said Giuliani was new to the team and would "get his facts straight".

Florida man killed in first recorded e-cig explosion death

Elsewhere in South Florida, Trump's Mar-a-Lago club generated $25.1 million, Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter generated $14.3 million and the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach generated $12.8 million.

In last year's form, Trump did not acknowledge the debt, which watchdog groups and ethics advocates say is a violation of federal law.

The president earned $40.4 million from his namesake hotel in Washington 2017.

A recent Bloomberg article stated that Novartis had made approximately $1.2 billion Dollars in payments to Cohen in an agreement signed by Ehrat and Novartis former-CEO, Joe Jimenez. Though it was published three decades ago, Trump's "The Art of The Deal" past year generated as much as $1 million.
