Trump Wants Russia Back In G-7

Trump's first meeting at the summer resort on St Lawrence river is with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, followed by sessions with the full summit, and then a bilateral with the host, Justin Trudeau, in the early evening. But Russia should be in this meeting.

Later Thursday, Trump tweeted: "Prime Minister Trudeau is being so indignant, bringing up the relationship that the USA and Canada had over the many years and all sorts of other things.but he doesn't bring up the fact that they charge us up to 300% on dairy - hurting our Farmers, killing our Agriculture!" French President Emmanuel Macron struck a hostile tone against Trump, saying that the USA could be kicked out of the G7. "We have to change it, and they understand it's going to happen", Trump said.

The G7 is a forum of major industrialized nations - including the US, UK, France, Germany, Canada, Italy, and Japan - which meet annually to discuss global issues. "Why are we having a meeting without Russian Federation being in the meeting". "Whether you like it or not, and it may not be politically correct, we have a world to run". Late Thursday, the White House announced that Trump would be leaving the G-7 late Saturday morning to head to Singapore ahead of his summit with Kim, though the G-7 meeting was scheduled to last until later that day. "It is in everyone's interest", he wrote on Twitter.

The EU also attends the meetings. After years in which Russia's wealthy were invited to base themselves in London without questions being asked about how they made their money, the Home Office is reviewing visas.
