E3 2018: Watch the wild new Death Stranding trailer

Today, that all changes, as a new trailer was revealed during Sony's E3 press conference, showing off what look to be gameplay footage. Wagner is known for her roles in series like The Bionic Woman and The Six Million Dollar Man as well as films like The Paper Chase while Seydoux will be remembered for her roles in films like Spectre, The Grand Budapest Hotel, and Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol.

Death Stranding is Hideo Kojima's long awaited debut as an independent developer after departing the Metal Gear Solid franchise.

"We also finally revealed our heroines". Mads Mikkelsen and Lindsay Wagner also appear. "Her intelligence and knowledge, her elegance and beauty, she is without a doubt a true French treasure".

Death Stranding has had some unbelievable cinematic trailers so far, which highlight the game's all-star cast. "Her charm transcends time and generations".

Kojima Productions, Kojima's own development studio, is developing Death Stranding, and it will star Norman Reedus.

Even though Death Stranding's gameplay isn't a total mystery any more, we definitely left the presentation with more questions than answers - so I'll count that as a win in terms of the good ol' Kojima weirdness equation.

This trailer was the most in-depth look at Death Stranding that we've had so far, and featured Sam moving through an open area with a baby strapped to his body seemingly powering a device that could detect the enemy threats, which are so far unnamed.
