John Schneider's gonna be behind bars for the next few days - a judge just gave him jail time for not paying spousal support to his estranged wife, Elvira.

Best known on the small screens as Bo Duke, Schneider is reportedly headed to jail after failing to meet an alimony payment deadline, according to TMZ.

Luckily for the 57-year-old actor, who is now known for his role in Smallville, he was released from jail on Tuesday (June 12) after just serving five hours of his sentence due to overcrowding.

Schneider begged the court for forgiveness and claimed financial hardship in an effort to avoid jail time.

In September 2016, he was ordered to pay Elvira $18,911 every month, TMZ reported.
