Ramadan and Eid fall on different dates each year, as Islam uses the lunar calendar, which doesn't line up perfectly with the Western calendar based on the solar cycle.

"The general public is hereby informed that Friday, 15th June, 2018 which marks the celebration of Eidul-Fitr, is a statutory public holiday and should be observed as such throughout the country", the statement from the Ministry said. In most of the states, Eid holiday has been declared on June 15. Many Muslims also recite the takbir, which is the declaration of faith, on their way to the prayer ground and take part in Zakat al-Fitr (charitable contributions). The festival is celebrated over three days and is also called Choti Eid.
