Transference Gets Extra Creepy In New Trailer

Ubisoft has just revealed a new game, called Transference. Doesn't sound much like Super Mario Brothers, does it?

The backstory: When brilliant-but-troubled scientist Raymond Hayes experiments with brain data collected from himself and his family, their combined consciousness begins to form a dark and twisted digital simulation. Gamers entering this world will shift from the point of view of Raymond, his wife, and their son. The object will be to recover and restore family memories and solve the family puzzle.

Angelina Jolie Could Lose Primary Custody Of Her Kids With Brad Pitt
A judge stated that Jolie must provide Pitt with each child's cell phone number and that he is allowed to call whenever he wants. The primary custody loss could happen if the Changeling star doesn't attempt to improve her relationship with Pitt .

Yep, that doesn't look scary at all. You the player are wearing a VR headset, but so is the character you embody in the game.

Which is not the most succinct description of a game ever, I admit, but I think it's safe to say (especially given that trailer) that it's going to be weird, and hopefully interesting too. Pass the laudanum, please. Ubisoft's Transference is an upcoming title that puts emphasis on story, being produced in collaboration with SpectreVision, a company co-founded by actor Elijah Wood. The game will be available in VR (PlayStation®VR, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive) and traditional platforms (PS4, Xbox One and PC) Fall 2018. It is set to launch this fall.
