Revealed during the PlayStation E3 2018 press conference, the new update will allow players to start the game again and face an even tougher challenge.

However, New Game Plus apparently won't be easy. "It's with our greatest pleasure to create this in honour of you - our fans".

There's no date for New Game Plus yet, with Sony saying it's now in development and due at some point down the line. This will include all of the weapons, talismans and more, according to Eurogamer. However, it's likely going to work like other games.

I still need to clear that beefy post-game content! You will keep all of your armour, enchantments, and everything else acquired during the first play-through.

For now, there is no release date announced for the game mode. The game is available now, exclusively for the PS4 and PS4 Pro.

New Game+ mode for God of War will feature a harder difficulty.
