Miami could be hosting some World Cup 2026 soccer games

THE WORLD CUP will be returning to the United States and Mexico as well as head to Canada for the first time after the United 2026 bid prevailed over Morocco.

Toronto, Montreal and Edmonton are now the only Canadian cities that could host matches.

The joint bid had been the front-runner for the 48-team tournament from the moment a North American coalition was first mooted two years ago, and there have been spells when it has looked like the only credible candidate.

The four bidding nations were ineligible from voting, while Ghana were not in attendance.

The United bid was always the favourite, but triumphed by a larger than anticipated number after heavy support in Asia and Europe as well as in the Americas.

"It was actually emotional because as somebody who grew up watching and playing soccer, I know it's a huge to get an event like the World Cup and I know the effect that it's going to have".

Soccer fans are invited to celebrate the big announcement with a beer on Sporting KC, No Other Pub and Anheuser-Busch from 5:30-6:30 No Other Pub in the Power and Light District.

The North American proposal is referred to as United 2026, as it bested a rival Moroccan bid, 134 votes to 65. Federation Internationale de Football Association promises to publish each voter's selection.

Inflation declines to 11.61% in May
It also said food prices dragged on inflation, specifically products such as sugar, jam, syrups, chocolate and confectionery. The RBI in its bid to tighten inflation , increased repo rate last week, for the first time in more than four years.

United Nations condemns excessive Israeli force against Palestinians

God of War Will Be Getting a New Game
However, New Game Plus apparently won't be easy. "It's with our greatest pleasure to create this in honour of you - our fans". There's no date for New Game Plus yet, with Sony saying it's now in development and due at some point down the line.

"What can really be the legacy, whether we host matches or are just involved with this in some other grand scheme, that can make sure that Baltimore and the state of Maryland have maximized the potential of being a part of the World Cup?".

"This shouldn't be a geopolitical discussion or decision", U.S. Soccer President Carlos Cordeiro said this week, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Vancouver Whitecaps star Alphonso Davies, who will likely lead the Canadian line for years to come, eloquently opened the North American bid's presentation to the FIFA Congress.

"My dream is to someday compete in the World Cup, maybe even in my home town of Edmonton". In 2002, Japan and South Korea both were granted automatic bids when they co-hosted the World Cup. Canada has never hosted a men's World Cup but held the women's tournament in 2015.

The FA was among the first to congratulate the US' joint bid with Mexico and Canada.

FIFA's hosting selection process was revamped in the wake of recent scandals enveloping the world governing body of soccer.

"There's going to be some disappointments, unfortunately", said CSA president Steven Reed, echoing his US counterpart.

"US President Donald Trump has disparaged Mexicans and wants to build a wall along the US-Mexico border".
