Millie Bobby Brown Quits Twitter After Being Featured In Homophobic Memes

Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown has seemingly deleted her Twitter account after various users posted memes that depict her as a violent, homophobic individual.

Millie, who is known not just for her acting but also for her anti-bullying message had to take drastic action after images of her with homophobic slurs photoshopped over the top began to litter Twitter.

Millie has been vocal about supporting LGBTQ rights since soaring into the spotlight via her Netflix series.

This isn't the first time that Brown has been targeted by online trolls, mind you.

Before her latest social media issues, the Inquisitr reported that Brown recently drew criticism over posting a picture of a moonlight kiss between her and her boyfriend, Jacob Sartorius.

The reason behind the memes remains unclear, though several Twitter users have claimed they originated as an inside joke for LGBT tweeters.

In 2017, Brown received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress for her work as the telekinetic teenager on Stranger Things.

Brown has not commented about deleting her Twitter account or about the trolling.
