Toby Alderweireld suggests Tottenham Hotspur stay

It appears that Danny Rose will not be leaving Tottenham just yet, as Manchester United reportedly scrapped plans to add another full back to their ranks. United were widely expected to sign another left-sided defender as Ashley Young is 33 while Luke Shaw has been tipped to leave Old Trafford after failing to establish himself under Mourinho.

Toby or not Toby, that is the question Manchester United fans are wondering as conflicting rumours emerged about the possibility of Toby Alderweireld becoming a Red Devil.

A move for Rose could still be resurrected later in the summer if United fail to find a central defender but for now the 27-year-old is going to have to find another club if he wants to leave Tottenham this summer.

Jose Mourinho has managed to lure in Shakhtar Donetsk's Fred and Porto's Diogo Dalot so far but is still in the hunt for a top quality, experienced centre-back.
