USA, Canada and Mexico to host 2026 FIFA World Cup

After 32 years, the World Cup will return to the 2026, but Chicago won't host any games of the soccer tournament this time around.

It may still be eight years away, but the expectation of seeing Canada co-hosting, and actually playing in, a men's World Cup is already palpable. Canadian officials have said they will push to have games played in all three of their host cities.

The United 2026 bid has selected 23 host cities, from which the final 16 must be chosen.
