Celtic, Rangers target Wilson talks Liverpool stay

Harry Wilson is determined to do well at Liverpool this season and the club's fans want him to get an opportunity to do so.

The 21-year-old, who watched the team reach the Champions League final, believes that the club can "go one step further" in the coming season.

The Liverpool Echo's James Pearce reports that 12 Championship clubs want to sign the Welshman on loan but the player himself has spoken about wanting to remain at the club and "push on" after a successful loan spell with Hull. Wilson told Liverpool's official site: "I've got a lot of confidence and belief that this season can be my season".

Liverpool had expected Wilson to start an undisclosed amount of games for the Bhoys next season, and as part of the proposed deal, would force Celtic to cough up more money if the demands weren't met.

The Baggies could be in with a shout in signing Wilson on loan, but with so much interest from other Championship sides, it could be a tough ask.
