Zach LaVine agrees to 4-year offer sheet with Kings

Zach LaVine #8 of the Chicago Bulls goes for a lay up against the Atlanta Hawks on March 11, 2018 at Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Chicago Bulls have made a decision to match restricted free agent Zach LaVine's $78 million offer sheet from the Sacramento Kings, league sources told ESPN. Now, Chicago has to determine whether all that LaVine brings to the table is worth $80 million.

"I'm disappointed that I had to get an offer sheet from another team", LaVine told ESPN's The Undefeated after he signed Sacramento's offer. On the surface, letting go of Zach Lavine would have been a PR disaster for the organization, considering he was a key component in the Jimmy Butler trade with Minnesota.
