George Clooney Has Motorcycle Accident Scare In Sardinia

George Clooney was taken to the hospital after crashing his motorcycle into a auto in Sardinia this week.

George, 57, was reportedly found lying injured on the road, having badly hurt his pelvis and bruised both his arms and legs.

Private media firm Mediaset, citing gossip magazine Chi, said the accident occurred near Costa Corallina, in the province of Olbia. According to a Sassari town hall official, the Ocean's 11 actor had no serious injuries, but had sustained a minor knee injury and has since been discharged from hospital.

"A vehicle did not respect the right of way and hit him", the tweet read.

Sardinia is a large Italian island in the Mediterranean Sea and is over 500 miles from Clooney's villa in Lake Como.

"Italian news agency ANSA and local newspapers report the star was taken by ambulance to the A&E of the John Paul II hospital in Olbia", the BBC reported.

Hugh Laurie also stars as Major de Coverley for the series which has a release date of 2019.
