Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo agrees to join Juventus from Real Madrid

Five-time world player of the year Cristiano Ronaldo has signed for Italian champion Juventus from Real Madrid, the La Liga club said in a statement yesterday.

Five time Ballon d'or victor Cristiano Ronaldo has left Real Madrid and signed for Juventus.

Juventus president Andrea Agnelli was at Ronaldo's hotel in Greece on Tuesday as discussions continued over the move.

Widespread reports now suggest that Madrid and Juve have agreed on a price, which is in excess of £100m - more than the £88m that had been widely reported over the weekend.

They have been absolutely wonderful for 9 years.

The Serie A champions are hoping to push through a club-record £88m deal for the 33-year-old, who is set to leave Madrid after nine years at the Bernabeu.

Ronaldo will sign a four-year deal that includes a yearly salary of around €30m ($35 million), according to The Guardian.

"Real Madrid will always be your home".

This will be a much harder match for England than their previous games, with Croatia's dynamic midfield as well at the back. The two teams will play in Moscow to decide who makes the final on Sunday.

European Union official criticizes Trump over attitude toward allies
But Trump's "obsession with it, the constant harping on it, and the exclusive focus on it - that's pretty new", said Goldgeier. Putin complained to Trump about the people who tried to stop the two men from talking, reporter Julie Hirschfeld Davis found.

Juventus have dominated Italian football for years, with the Serie A giants winning the league title in each of the last seven seasons and completing the domestic double in the four most recent campaigns.

These years at Real Madrid, and in the city of Madrid, have been probably the happiest of my life.

"For Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo will always be one of its great symbols and a unique reference for future generations".

"Beyond the conquered titles, the trophies achieved and the triumphs achieved in the playing fields during these 9 years, Cristiano Ronaldo has been an example of dedication, work, responsibility, talent and improvement".

The signing also strikes a blow for the profile of Serie A against La Liga, which has now lost two of its three most famous players in the past year after Paris St Germain signed Neymar from Barcelona for a world record fee last August.

Ronaldo will presumably feature in a two-man attack next to Argentina star Paulo Dybala, who naturally drops deeper in order to create chances for the Bianconeri, which could benefit the Los Blancos man.

He was the first player to score 100 Champions League goals and topped the competition's scoring charts six times.

He scored 451 goals for the side in 438 games, and won 17 major trophies in total.
