"If you go out there with doubts or unsure what's going to happen, like I maybe did a little bit in that first set, it's not going to go your way". Federer will resume his title defense on Wednesday when he faces eighth-seeded Kevin Anderson.

Nadal's immediate focus though would be on del Potro, whom he has beaten 10 times in 15 meetings. He made it to the the US Open final a year ago, and he's firmly established himself as a top-10 player.

But the big-serving and obdurate Anderson was undaunted by the situation, staying alive before turning the tide in his favor, preventing Federer from breaking his own record for consecutive sets won at SW19.

The only other times he has surrendered a two-set lead came against Lleyton Hewitt in Switzerland's 2003 Davis Cup semi-final loss to Australia in Melbourne, to David Nalbandian in the 2005 Masters Cup decider.

The three-time Wimbledon champion was broken in the opening game of the fourth set, but won the next four games and broke again to clinch victory.

Asked whether being bumped to Court 1 made any difference, having not played there for three years, he added: 'I don't think it would have changed if I played there last year.

"I just kept on telling myself I have to continue believing". The nail-biting four-hour and 13-minute contest is bound to go down as one of the greatest upsets in the history of the tournament.

World's Ugliest Dog dies weeks after winning dubious honor
After winning the annual contest in California, Zsa Zsa and her entourage flew to NY for an appearance on NBC's " Today Show". Jesse Larson, who owns the dog with Megan Brainard , told Fox 9 Zsa Zsa passed away in her sleep overnight Tuesday morning.

United States tariffs take effect, China retaliates
President Xi, the president of China, is taking a much longer view than Trump because China's presidency doesn't have term limits. Wansleben added that China also needed to change its positions in many areas, "but there's definitely more room for improvement".

Enormous 4 mile long iceberg filmed breaking from Greenland glacier
The event lasted more than 30 minutes, but the movie was compressed to about 90 seconds. This is what it looks like when an iceberg calves from a glacier.

Isner is hoping he might have some presidential support should he reach the semi-finals, with Donald Trump due to visit the United Kingdom later this week.

Djokovic has improved in every tournament in 2018, making it to the fourth round of the Australian Open, the quarterfinal round of the French Open and now the semifinal round at Wimbledon.

Last year, Djokovic was furious after his fourth-round match was cancelled for the day following the epic clash between Nadal and Gilles Muller.

Federer had been pursuing a 13th Wimbledon semi-final and a 44th appearance in the last four of a grand slam.

Djokovic missed the end of the 2017 season after lackluster (for him) performances in the first three majors of the season due to an elbow injury.

"I had my chances", Federer said, "so it's disappointing". 'I don't know. Sometimes you feel better, and you still try your best.

He's playing like it, at least. However, Djokovic is in some fine form, and his unbelievable movement on the grass coupled with his solid all-round game may well wear his opponent down on this occasion. "Maybe you should ask the questions over in Russian Federation, how they're going to feel about Wimbledon being played at the same time".
