Israel 'not ruling out' eventual ties with Syria's Assad

In their Moscow meeting Netanyahu and Putin were to discuss Syria.

He added that military officials believe the drone was Syrian and that it could have been on an intelligence collecting mission, but it was not yet clear if it purposely entered Israel or strayed from its path.

Israel has repeatedly said it will not allow Iran, or its Shiite proxies, to establish a permanent presence in a postwar Syria.

Tension has increased at the border as President Bashar al-Assad's forces have pressed towards it with an assault against rebels. The IDF has not yet said exactly who flew either drone.

"We are still looking into why it crossed - whether it was on a military mission and crossed on goal, or it strayed", he said, while adding that the latter scenario was "not common".

Israel seized a large swathe of the Golan Heights from Syria in the 1967 Six-Day War and later annexed it, in a move never recognised by the worldwide community.

United States tariffs take effect, China retaliates
President Xi, the president of China, is taking a much longer view than Trump because China's presidency doesn't have term limits. Wansleben added that China also needed to change its positions in many areas, "but there's definitely more room for improvement".

What Is the Endgame for the Trump Trade Wars?
The U.S. imposed an initial round of 25% tariffs, applying to $34 billion in imports, as part of a $50 billion tariff plan. Daniel Sankey, a financial policy analyst, suggested that the tariffs harm America's trading with the rest of the globe.

England fans 'dare to dream' after win over Sweden
According to the Daily Mail , one of the players was overheard saying: "We could do without this today". "We knew set-plays would be a big thing".

"He now needs Russian fighter jets and militias that are commanded by Iran but after Assad controls the entire of Syria and emerges as the major victor in the civil war, he will want to go back to being the only ruler". In the past, Putin has turned a blind eye to Israeli strikes on Iranian and Hezbollah targets in Syria while making clear Russian Federation does not want Assad's rule endangered.

"We made a decision to bring with us two wonderful children who are bravely fighting cancer: Mika, whom my wife and I have known for nine years, and Alon, whose parents emigrated from Russian Federation and who likes soccer very much".

Russian Federation has been a key ally of Syrian President Bashar Assad in the Syrian civil war and its forces on the ground have managed to turn the tide in Assad's favor in recent years. The United Nations last month renewed the mandate of its Golan observer force UNDOF and on Wednesday called on all parties to abide by the 44-year-old armistice arrangements.

While Russia and Iran have both deployed forces to Syria to help prop up Assad's government, their interests do not always converge. Netanyahu's government has made clear it would not now cede the Golan and has been lobbying for US recognition of Israel's claim of sovereignty there.

The firing of a Patriot missile at the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) triggered rocket sirens in Israel's Golan Heights and Jordan Valley regions, and shortly after videos appeared on social media showing a trial of white smoke in the sky over Israel. A Syrian commander said the drone was engaged in local operations.

"A few hours ago, a Syrian aircraft infiltrated Israel's airspace", he said.
