Korean-American Kevin Na Wins 2nd Career PGA Victory

"I know I've come back from six shots a couple times in my career", Watson said.

"So I babied it and it broke off", he said. I failed so many times. Na has four top-10 finishes this year on the PGA Tour, including a second-place finish at the Genesis Open in February and a fourth-place finish at the Forth Worth Invitational in May.

Knox, who tied for second at the French Open last week, goes to No. 5 in the Race to Dubai and will get back into the top 50 in the world.

Na fired six birdies in a seven-hole stretch around the turn on his way to a six-under 64 at West Sulphur Springs, pulling him clear of overnight joint-leader Kelly Kraft and the chasing pack. Na finished at 19-under 261 and picked up the $1.31 million winner's paycheck.

Kraft shot 70 and finished second at 14-under.

"My putter got hot", Na said. "The first day the putter felt very bad, and (then) it just clicked". I was right there, things were just happening, and for some reason I just felt like it was my day.

By the time he strolled up to the 18th green, Na was at ease, relaying his love to his wife and young daughter toward a TV camera.

"I didn't want to leave the Korean fans out", said Na, who was born in South Korea before moving to California with his family as a child.

Snedeker recorded eight birdies and two bogeys on his climb up the leaderboard and was encouraged about his play 10 days before the beginning of the season's third major tournament, the Open Championship at Carnoustie in Scotland. Varner would birdie holes 11,12, 14, and 17. That gave the final spot to Cook.

Kraft, Kokrak and Snedeker were the other qualifiers.

But he returned to form Sunday to earn another top finish. Kim hit 67 out of 72 greens in regulation.

On Sunday's gaffe, Mickelson said he "wasn't really thinking".

Before teeing off on the par-4 7th he stepped on a tuft of grass, which he later told rules officials was in his preferred line, leading to the penalty. Kim won the 2016 Founders Cup at 27 under, while Sorenstam won the 2001 Standard Register Ping at 27 under, the tournament Sorenstam shot 59. The only blemish for Kim all week at Thornberry Creek at Oneida was a double bogey in the second round Friday.

Varner sank a nine-foot birdie putt at 11.

Fox had an 8-foot birdie putt to extend the playoff, but it caught the lip and spun away.

"Tough to describe how unbelievable this feels", Knox said. First-round leader Webb Simpson, who recorded a 61 on Thursday, slumped to 76-72 on over the final two rounds and finished tied for 47th at 4 under.
