Queen praises RAF's 'tenacity and skill' at centenary event

After first appearing at Westminster Abbey to celebrate 100 years of the Royal Air Force, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex hopped on a plane to Ireland for a two-day tour - their first overseas engagement as a married couple.

After the royal appearance, the family watched the flypast from a balcony at Buckingham Palace with great ceremony.

The Queen has praised the Royal Air Force for its "tenacity, skill and gallantry" as she was joined by senior members of the royal family at the centrepiece of centenary events.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are to begin a two-day visit to Dublin later.

The dress features an nearly identical open-shoulder neckline as her Givenchy wedding gown, and has a strikingly similar silhouette.

Meghan wore a deep navy boat neck dress from Dior, that was a similar shape to her iconic wedding dress.
