Samsung to release the S10 in three variants

Samsung to release the S10 in three variants

It turns out that success may have harmed Samsung a bit as it has been hard for Samsung to top the Galaxy S8 with this year's Galaxy S9.

The phone is also rumoured to be coming with a super-large 6.9-inch QHD+ display, 6,000mAh battery, and Honor's hot new graphics technology, GPU Turbo. There will be no notch with the top bezel housing the sensors and front-facing camera.

It also reported that Qualcomm will supply the optical fingerprint sensors to Samsung and that the Galaxy S10+ will have a triple-lens camera system. It will add to this a 120° wide angle module.

There's no word what configuration the two selfie cameras but it is expected to be similar to the Galaxy A8 (2018) with a 16MP + 8MP setup aimed at Live Focus (portrait mode) selfies.

But one feature which helped Samsung retain in the flagship market was its much advertised S9+ Camera.

If the S10s do end up with an Exynos 9820, it won't be particularly surprising. The processor would have 8 cores: 2 M4 cores for the heaviest tasks, 2 Cortex-A75 or A76 for the intermediate tasks and 4 small Cortex-A55 for the simplest tasks.

While that tweet doesn't specifically name the Galaxy S10, a later reply confirms it.

On Tuesday, AndroidHeadlines shared what it claims to be the first official render of Samsung's next flagship phone, confirming countless reports which had led us to believe that the Note 9 would forego a full redesign and stick with numerous design choices of the Note 8. He now uses a Samsung Galaxy S8 and (very rarely) a Nexus 7 (2013). Jeff used to have a pair of Google Glass and a Moto 360 Sport in his stable of gadgets.
