LeBron James pitches movie to Paramount, wants a starring role

James has been rumored to have interest in the Lakers for a long time, and Las Vegas made the Lakers a heavy betting favorite to land James for the exact same reasons West laid out. SpringHill has been active in selling production projects around Hollywood, but on Wednesday we got the first word of a new feature film possibly starring James.

The Lakers icon who is now an executive board member with the Los Angeles Clippers spoke with Sports Illustrated about James' arrival in L.A. and appears less than impressed with his former team's offseason work.

"The road to the National Basketball Association championship has to go through the team that won a year ago, and we all know the guys up north have a special group", Pelinka said. "I think we saw that in the Houston series with some of the players that Houston has".

There's no denying that the three free agents and Caldwell-Pope all possess defensive intensity and toughness. If the Lakers can somehow land Kawhi Leonard - this year or next - they'd have a 1-2 punch as good as any in the league.

McGee will get to see what Lonzo and Kuzma are truly capable of once training camp starts.

Pelinka also said Ball will be fully healthy for training camp. The passage describes the process of making a decision being "only the beginning of things".
