Papa John's chairman resigns after using racial slur in conference call

Forbes reports that in an effort to downplay his 2017 National Football League statement, Schnatter allegedly said, "Colonel Sanders called blacks n--s", and he then said that Sanders never faced public backlash.

Schnatter did not deny the Forbes report, and first apologized in a statement for his "inappropriate and hurtful language" during what was called a media training session regarding race.

"Regardless of the context, I apologize", he said, according to CNBC. The call was part of a PR roleplaying exercise, which arose from an earlier controversy when Schnatter blamed a drop in pizza sales on the NFL's handling of protests during the national anthem.

The request was complied with quickly, as Schnatter did resign from the board he'd served on for two years, its chairman, J. David Grissom, said in a statement, which also thanked the executive for his "generous" support.

The founder of Papa John's pizza chain has resigned as chairman of the board, the company announced Wednesday night. These memories are said to have been brought up in an effort to demonstrate how un-racist Schnatter is, but it obviously offended multiple people who were on the call.

Sparks flew between Alex and Alexandra, but it wasn't long before Idris made a decision to try his luck and get his flirt on. She said 'I'm just real and if I do get along with you better than I get along with Sam maybe...' but it's early days.

Stormy Daniels arrested in OH while performing a strip show

A Night on the Verge in London
Kieran Trippier approached the ball, and fired it over the wall, into the top right corner for the early 1-0 lead. The winger and attacking midfielder has since moved on to Inter where he has been playing since 2015.

The May conference call was with Schnatter and marketing agency Laundry Service. "No member of the board of trustees condones racism or insensitive language regardless of the setting". It's weird and it's freakish and given that "Papa John" was trending on Twitter for much of the day, this latest unforced error becomes yet another indication that his company will continue to struggle.

In an email statement to Forbes, Schnatter confirmed using the n-word. The agency, Laundry Service, did not immediately respond to requests for comment. In a complicated arrangement, the school's deal is with Schnatter himself, not the Papa John's brand, and provides that if he leaves the company, Schnatter can rename the building.

While Schnatter is no longer the CEO of Papa John's, he is still chairman and is tied with the brand's image and is featured prominently on the company's pizza boxes.

Schnatter reportedly told those on the phone that Colonel Sanders - the founder of KFC - used to called black people the n-word and he didn't get public backlash.
