Roy Keane Didn't Have Much Sympathy For 'Sloppy' England After Loss

Roy Keane Didn't Have Much Sympathy For 'Sloppy' England After Loss

Manchester United legend Roy Keane and Arsenal icon Ian Wright were reacting to the game.

"Roy Keane is just terrible I am sorry".

England are not making the final - they have a 3rd place playoff on Saturday - but Keane will, back on punditry duty this Sunday afternoon.

"It's Coming Home" has been the mantra of England fans, and sometimes even the players, for the last month and supporters were excitedly dreaming of taking on France in the final. On about the final, football's coming home...' He reckoned everyone was already planning for the final after England went further than they had ever done in a World Cup since 1990. "And I know Ian made the point a few weeks ago a little bit tongue in cheek".

Keane replied: 'I don't mind you being happy, but you were getting carried away.

"And I was right. We were just having a laugh with you", Wright said in his famous London accent.

"The fact is we were happy, and you weren't happy with us being happy".

Polish Historian/Scientist Continues Interview As Cat Climbs On His Head
Targlaski's interview was pre-taped, so the whole feline fiasco was not actually seen on TV. It's a universally acknowledged truth that cats have no regard for personal space.

Neville found the whole thing piss-funny.

Keane, never one to let a potential dust-up pass, wasn't letting Wright forget that 1966 world champions England had been sent packing.

That caution proved to well founded as Mario Mandzukic's extra-time victor fired Croatia into Sunday's final against France as England's expense in a tense semi-final in Moscow, with Keane biding his time before revisiting his previous discussion with Wright. This game can kick you where it hurts, and England will have to suffer that tonight.

You know how hard it is to get to these big finals or even get to these World Cup.

"It is ridiculous, you are a grown man, you have played this game".

"Look at these England players, a lot of them haven't won a trophy, it's highly unlikely the first trophy you're going to win in your career is a World Cup."
