Instagram Stories getting more interactive with new ‘Question Sticker’ conversation starters

Another Instagram update dropped while we were sleeping-and it is a new interactive sticker for your Instagram Stories called "Questions".

When friends see it they can tap on the sticker in order to ask you a question.

To request questions from followers, the user selects the "questions" sticker located in the sticker library. Fortunately though, Instagram will keep the identity of the users private when the post is shared in a new story, although the original user can still see the identity of the person that asked the question. Users can then tap the response to add their own answer, which can be posted as a new story.

The new question sticker on the polling feature means friends can submit questions for you to answer - but only you can see who has asked what.

Instagram quietly updated its mobile apps to allow users to add questions inside their Stories.

Charles Oakley arrested for cheating at casino
The Knicks icon was arrested at a Las Vegas casino on Sunday, TMZ Sports reported , for allegedly trying to cheat while gambling. Oakley later agreed to a plea deal to have the charges dropped and subsequently filed the civil suit.

This is just the latest in a deluge of features and updates added to the app - around 20 since the beginning of the year (including feed changes, anti-bullying improvements, changes to explore, etc.), eight of which were introduced on or after June 1.

It seems like Instagram is in the news every other day.

The questions sticker is available as part of Instagram version 52 on iOS and Android.

Instagram has also added a colour picker for text, which will use an eyedropper symbol to choose any colour from a photo, and apply it to text or a drawing.

When a user views a story with a question, they can respond with any answer and send it along to the poster.
