While Judge Kavanaugh may be hard-working, religious, smart and polite, his worldview is outdated and Americans with old-fashioned views do not belong on the nation's highest court.

Kavanaugh, for his part, has only ruled on one abortion case in his 12 years as a federal judge. "And that will happen automatically, in my opinion, because I am putting pro-life justices on the court", he said.

Gerard also objected to Kavanaugh because he would "deny women their right to abortion after he tried - ultimately unsuccessfully - to prevent an undocumented minor who was in government custody from obtaining the procedure".

USW International President Leo Gerard said orking families "cannot tolerate another corporate apologist on the U.S. Supreme Court, fawning over CEOs and stomping on the rights of workers".

Pro-choice activist groups have decried Kavanaugh's nomination as a threat to women's rights.

His second round included an eagle on the second, but he just could not get the birdies turning over from him on the back nine. It wasn't a great moment and there's not much I can do about it now apart from just trying to act a little better.

U.S. refuses European requests for exemptions from new Iran sanctions
Trump has asked Saudi Arabia to increase its oil exports to compensate the gap in the market in case Iran's crude exports drop. Next in line could be insurers, who may refuse cover to vessels carrying Iranian oil or units that process that oil.

Manchin suggested to Politico that Schumer does not have any influence over whether or not he supports Brett Kavanaugh's nomination.

"I think it's very likely that if the Clean Power Plan were to come before the United States Supreme Court, Judge Kavanaugh would vote to strike it down", Carlson says, adding that the four other conservative justices would most likely join him.

Judge Brett Kavanaugh, Donald Trump's recent selection to fill the vacancy on the Supreme Court left by Anthony Kennedy, was a "bland eater" in college, his then-roommate has revealed, with the potential justice preferring to dress his pasta with simple sauces that were not spicy at all. "The ramifications of this battle will last a generation or more", he said.

The Gallup Poll was conducted between July 2nd and July 8th with a 3 percent margin of error.
