These products may see discounts in the 30 to 50 percent range.

The Echo Show is expected to be slashed to $129.99 ($100 off) and the Echo Dot will sell for $34.99 ($15 off).

While Amazon said Prime deals will cover more than one million items, it will be heavily discounting its own digital products like Alexa and other connected home products and its Kindle digital readers and Fire streaming products. This year it's not just online, it's also in the checkout line at more than 400 Whole Foods stores nationwide. According to CNBC, Coresight Research is estimating Prime Day 2018 sales should reach at minimum $3.4 billion globally, breaking another record. Amazon says last year's Prime Day was its biggest sales day ever. "It's really a great exciting place to be right now".
