Prince Charles and Prince William refused to meet with Donald Trump when he visited Windsor castle last week, leaving Queen Elizabeth II alone to greet the controversial USA president.

According to sources, Trump was a "guest-of-government", which means technically, no other members of the royal family were obliged to be there.

According to reports, 69-year-old Prince Charles and 36-year-old Prince William, made a decision to snub US President Donald Trump when he visited Windsor Castle over the weekend. Since the visit was not a state visit, the Queen was allowed to meet them without other members of her family, including Prince Philip, 97.

On Friday, Trump is said to have broken protocol several times after arriving 12 minutes late to the meeting at Windsor Castle.
