Reality Star Annabelle Neilson Dead at 49

Annabelle Neilson, who was a muse for the the late fashion designer Alexander McQueen, has been found dead aged 49.

Annabelle Neilson, the former star of the Bravo reality series Ladies of London, has died at age 49.

The London Metropolitan Police told Us Weekly that officers were called to Neilson's address on Thursday, July 12, after a woman had been "found deceased at the location". In the days before her death, Neilson was said to be in a good mood, and she attended a family wedding, posting photos on her Instagram page.

Annabelle had been the last person to see Alexander McQueen alive in 2010, whose tragic death devastated her. "Yes, she's an icon but to me she's just Kate", Neilson said lovingly of the supermodel in the Daily Mail interview. "Most of the time people called me Mrs McQueen", she told the Daily Mail in 2015.

"These are the ladies I love and are my real friends!" she shared via Instagram at the time. I just said to myself, 'You have to get up, ' so I did.

Earlier in the decade, the "Ladies of London" star met Kate while working for Alexander, and she later described the model as her "best mate".

Born of an aristocratic family (her mother Elizabeth is a marquesa), Neilson was very well known in the highest British social circles. "I wish now that I had said yes".

In Neilson's Bravo bio, she also described herself as a "fixture in the global party circuit" and says she counted Richard Branson, Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss as close friends.

Revealing they fight like sisters, she continued: "We fight over stupid things, then we kiss and make up. Quite often we were sharing a bed", she said. She also authored a series of children's books called "The Me Me Me's". She always looks out for me and I look out for her.

Annabelle was the ex-wife of millionaire banker Nat Rothschild. The couple divorced after three tumultuous years of marriage, with Neilson reportedly receiving a substantial settlement after signing a confidentiality agreement and reverting to her maiden name.
