Woman bites off woman's nose, swallows it

A Texas house guest has been arrested after allegedly biting off a piece of her host's nose and swallowing it when she asked her to leave her house.

A woman in Houston faces an assault charge after she allegedly jumped another woman, bit off a piece of her nose and swallowed it when the victim refused to get her alcohol and cigarettes.

Tatiana reportedly told Collins to leave her property, sparking a violent reaction from the woman.

"I don't have a nose anymore", the victim said, who wished to only be identified as Tatiana according to KTRK News. I think I was trying to fight back, but I couldn't. The victim says that upon returning home Collins demanded more alcohol and cigarettes. "All I could remember was the taste of blood in my mouth". She also recalled calling her husband while in an ambulance: "I was screaming, like, 'I don't have a nose".

While in the hospital, doctors informed the victim she would need reconstructive plastic surgery in order to fix her face.

Tatiana says she went out to a bar on Wednesday night with her next-door neighbor and Collins, who was temporarily staying with the neighbor.

Tatiana now faces a race against time, as the skin on her nose will begin to heal within the next fortnight, making reconstructive surgery more hard. The surgery must happen within two weeks or it will become more complicated, doctors say.

Tatiana's friends have set up a GoFundMe page to help pay for the surgery.

Police arrested Collins and charged her with assault-bodily injury.

As of early Monday evening, the GoFundMe page raised $692 of its $12,000 goal.
