Papa John’s further shuns founder, evicting him from offices

"As you all know, there's been a lot of coverage about Laundry Service and Wasserman related to the Papa John's situation in the past several days", the email says.

Papa John's founder John Schnatter came under pressure after a media report stated he used a racial slur and graphic descriptions of violence against minorities.

Oregon State Vice President and Director of Athletics Scott Barnes said Schnatter's comments are not reflective of the university's values and the inclusive environment the school strives to offer.

Schnatter says the board requested that he step down as chairman without "any investigation" and he should not have complied, according to a letter his representative says was sent to the board Saturday.

The outspoken executive has been in hot water since last week when a transcript of an internal May conference call was leaked that revealed Schnatter had used the N-word.

He remains Papa John's largest shareholder with about 30 percent of the company's stock.

Liverpool table significant offer for Roma goalkeeper Alisson
If that's not definitive evidence that Alisson is DEFINITELY going to join Liverpool imminently, then I don't know what is. If one thing has become abundantly clear over the past few months is that Liverpool desperately need a new goalkeeper.

Schnatter resigned as chairman last week after he admitted to using the N-word during a conference call on public relations, first reported on by Forbes.

In a press release on Sunday, Papa John's said that the company will be terminating a sublease agreement with Schnatter, which allowed him to use office space in headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky.

Schnatter said he is "absolutely not" a racist. And I think, again I don't care if the setting was confidential or not, it hurt somebody's feelings, ' Schnatter said.

The board accepted Schnatter's resignation as chairman July 11 and will appoint a new chairman in coming weeks.

Laundry Service has not commented on Schnatter's allegations and did not return the Daily Mail's request for comment.

The pizza franchise announced in a statement that Schnatter will "cease all media appearances, and not make any further statements to the media regarding the company, its business or employees".

Papa John's has also remained silent on the ousted CEO's claims and continues to distance itself from Schnatter.
