Namibia beat Kenya to qualify for #RWC2019 in Japan

Namibia assistant coach Jacques Burger is expecting a frenetic spectacle when his side host Kenya in a straight shootout for a place at the 2019 World Cup in Japan in their final Rugby Africa Gold Cup clash in Windhoek on Saturday.

Namibia have picked up bonus point wins in all their four victories where they have managed to dot down 45 tries, 34 of them converted and scored two penalties for a high score of 294 points thus far.

Kenya meet Namibia in crunch Rugby World Cup 2019 qualifying match this weekend.

Kenya will now enter the Repechage phase to be staged in Marseille in November along with Canada, Hong Kong and Germany, which will complete the 20-team finals field, as they seek a first ever World Cup berth.

It has been a disappointing campaign by the Sables, who started the qualifiers amid great expectations, after the game's leaders moved mountains to rope in South African coach Peter De Villiers to take charge of the team and revive a side that has lost its way in recent years.

"We've got quality and experience, but you never know, in a two-horse race, the bounce of the ball or a referee's decision could go against you".

The country will play alongside world champions New Zealand, South Africa and Italy, with the victor of the Repechage competition to complete the group.

Apple complies with China’s rules again, pulls gambling apps from App Store
It is not the first time that the tech giant has been criticised by Chinese state media for having illegal apps in its store. Last year Apple began removing hundreds of virtual private network (VPN) apps on request from regulators.

Namibia, who have been the dominant force in these qualifiers, have to beat a team that has been the best of the rest of the group, Kenya, for them to get another ticket for a dance with the game's heavyweights at next year's World Cup.

"My boys have played really well for short spells of matches, but we have not been consistently good, so raising our game in Namibia is essential".

The Zimbabweans have not qualified for the Rugby World Cup since 1991.

Morocco will be dropped back to the Silver Cup - a relegation, which was effected after Zimbabwe registered first, win of the season. "It has been hard with no warm-up games and going in cold for one-off test matches", Snook told Xinhua.

"The Tunisian game provided a bit of everything which the players will learn from. We are out for a win", he added.

Snook conceded that being consistently good throughout a match has been problematic for Kenya, despite victories over Morocco, Zimbabwe, Uganda and Tunisia.

"Now we have three wins but we need one more so that we have outright wins which will guarantee us safety", said Mrs Chipandu.
