Olivia Newton-John Confirms Tragic Secret Cancer Diagnosis

Olivia Newton-John was diagnosed with cancer for a third time previous year and cancelled her tour to complete a short course of radiation therapy.

While Olivia beat her second bout of cancer, she is now battling the disease again, with a tumour previous year found at the base of her spine.

Her publicist dismissed the rumours at the time, blaming scheduling conflicts for the change of plans, but in a new Australian TV interview, which aired on Sunday, Olivia admitted doctors had discovered a tumour at the base of her spine.

The 69-year-old battled a second bout of cancer back in 2013 - a fight which she had chose to keep secret.

"It's my life", and I just made a decision to keep it to myself", she adds.

"Olivia has chosen to dismiss conventional cancer medicines, opting instead for natural remedies and marijuana, grown by her husband in a state where it's legal". "I shouldn't say fight, in this journey", she said.

"I believe I will win over it, and that's my goal", added the defiant star, who turns 70 later this month. As a result, she turned to her husband's Amazon Herb Company as well as the oncology team at her Melbourne Cancer and Wellness Centre throughout 2012. As for why she kept her second bout with cancer on the down-low: "I thought". "Always when I sing it, I get a good, happy feeling and I get that positivity and keep on believing".
