Apple's iPhone XS Event: Here's How To Watch And What To Expect

The leaked image appeared last week, and shows what are alleged to be prototypes of 6.1-inch LCD iPhone.

After 9to5Mac brought the name iPhone XS Max into play last week for the largest of the new models, the name iPhone XS Plus is again mentioned on the slide. Today, Bloomberg is reporting that the cheaper 6.1-inch LCD iPhone could be called the iPhone Xr - with the "r" likely standing for "regular". Previously, Apple used the "C" suffix to bring out the iPhone 5C as a low-priced model alongside the iPhone 5S. These include more watch faces as well as improved health tracking features.You now get to be more competitive with the new Competition mode on WatchOS 5.

Apple CEO Tim Cook will take to the stage on Wednesday to reveal the new iPhone (or iPhones) and the features that will be packed in this year. Besides Apple's mainstream launches, a series of three iPhones might be announced: a larger version of the iPhone X, an updated one, and a cheaper one equipped with an LCD display and measuring 6.1 inches.

What's particularly interestingly about this weekend's leak, is that according to The Apple Post, the screenshots pictured may have leaked courtesy of Apple, itself. Of course, there's always the possibly of a shocking "One more thing", but true shocks are no longer easy for Apple to pull off.

On Friday, Apple stock fell on an announcement from the company indicating that the new tariffs on China, championed by President Donald Trump, would hurt its business.
