Last-minute iPhone leaks pop-up before Apple's event

After a series of leaks, analysts expect the Silicon Valley firm to unveil three new X-series handsets at the launch event at 6pm United Kingdom time. Storage on both will be available in 64GB, 256GB and 512GB variants, while colourways consist of Silver, Black, and Gold.

A second phone, the XS, with a 5.8-inch OLED display, would be similar to the iPhone X but with an improved processor.

So, that appears to be a nail in the coffin for the rumoured "iPhone XS Plus" and "iPhone XC" names, then, which were widely rumoured to be the monikers of the gadgets. How will Apple iterate on the iPhone X design? The display consists of a total of 2.7 million pixels, features a pixel density of 458 pixels per inch, and has a notch cut-out for the front-facing camera. This is an inch bigger than the current iPhone 8 Plus.

That means they're also all likely to boast Apple's hi-tech Face ID feature, which uses facial recognition to identify you - allowing your phone to be unlocked. Apple is also said to be introducing a device that caters to the mid-range market, now dubbed the iPhone 9 or iPhone Xr by the media, sitting with an estimated price of $799 (£799). You can even change the depth of field after you've taken a photo.

This year, Apple is making it easier than ever before to watch the Apple iPhone event.

6 things we hope Apple does with the iPhone XS
With Apple about to refresh its smartphone line-up, it seems its older devices are getting some very decent discounts. In reality, bigger iPhone models cost Apple more to manufacture than its smaller models.

Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy, who trailed then-leader Rose by one shot after round three, finished fifth following a 68. American 14-time major victor Tiger Woods closed with a 65, moving up to a share of sixth, one shot behind McIlroy.

European clubs told that a third UEFA competition has been approved
It said various ideas would be discussed "before any decision on potential changes would be made". The winners of all 32 UEFA member bodies' domestic cup competitions entered the tournament.

The leak also shows multiple cases for the new iPhones.

Apple's "Gather Round" media event will be streamed live on Twitter tomorrow, marking the first time an Apple press event has graced the social network.

And now we come to perhaps the most important feature for many users: battery life.

Last year, the company got rid of the home button on the iPhone and introduced facial-recognition technology used to unlock the device.
