NASA sees Hurricane Florence open an evil-looking eye

For more on Hurricane Florence, visit HERE. NASA's Aqua satellite caught Hurricane Florence developing an eye Sunday as the storm ramped up its intensity. As of 11 p.m. Saturday, Florence had maximum sustained winds of 70 mp and was located about 790 miles southeast of Bermuda.

Navy ships off Virginia's coast were preparing to sail out of the path, a North Carolina university has already canceled classes and people have begun stocking up on plywood, bottled water and other supplies. It is expected to become a major hurricane by Monday night. "Florence has rapidly intensified into an extremely unsafe hurricane", Blake wrote Monday evening that top sustained winds would approach the 157 miles per hour (253 kph) threshold for a worst-case Category 5 scenario.

The black line and dots forecast the track of the center of the storm at a particular point in time, according to the National Hurricane Center.

Florence exploded into a potentially catastrophic Category 4 hurricane Monday as it closed in on North and SC, carrying winds up to 130 miles per hour and water that could wreak havoc over a wide stretch of the eastern United States later this week.

Carolinas brace for potentially devastating Hurricane Florence
Florence may make landfall anywhere from New England to the Carolinas as soon as Thursday as a Category 3 or higher hurricane. The other storms — Tropical Storm Isaac and Tropical Storm Helene — are both expected to become hurricanes Sunday or Monday.

Trump insisted he "never used those terms on anyone, including Jeff", adding that "being a southerner is a GREAT thing". He "stole a letter off Trump's desk, ' Woodward writes, specifically to prevent the president from signing it".

He went on to say that she was constantly available to Miller and always asking what she could do to help. A friend claims that Grande wanted him to be healthy more than anything else.

As Hurricane Florence churned toward an eventual Eastern Seaboard landfall, evacuations were imposed for parts of three East Coast states Tuesday and millions of Americans prepared for what could become one of the most catastrophic hurricanes to hit the region in decades. Storms generally form over the equator, where the water temperature is especially high, then move north and west, pushed along by currents in the tropical Atlantic. "Flooding is the deadliest result of these storms".

Florence was producing large swells expected to reach from the northern Caribbean to the southern coasts of Canada's Maritime provinces. Combined with high tides, the storm surge could swell as high as 12 feet.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has detailed online how hurricanes take shape. While the cone of uncertainty still covers most of South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia, prediction models of the storm indicate it's headed toward some area between Charleston, S.C. and North Carolina's Outer Banks.

The Miami-based National Hurricane Centre (NHC) in its latest bulletin said that hurricane watches had gone into effect for Dominica, Martinique, and Guadeloupe, while a tropical storm watch is in effect for Antigua and Barbuda and Montserrat.
