Claude Makelele makes bold Maurizio Sarri prediction

Chelsea center-back David Luiz has praised new manager Maurizio Sarri's positive approach to life and football.

Centre-back David Luiz fell out of favour under Conte last season but has started all four league fixtures prior to the worldwide break, despite Sarri switching to a back four.

Sarri replaced Antonio Conte in the summer after a long drawn out saga over whether he would remain at Stamford Bridge or not.

The 31-year-old has been forced to watch Chelsea's impressive start to the campaign from the sidelines after aggravating a knee problem in their 2-0 Community Shield defeat to Manchester City. The Blues beat Huddersfield Town, Arsenal, Newcastle United, and Bournemouth to take second position in the standings, behind Liverpool.

"So it's going to be hard for them to win the Premier League".

Ahead of Saturday's Premier League tie against Cardiff City, Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri explained that he is "open to the idea" of Terry's surprise return.
