Samsung teases October 11th Galaxy event with ‘4x fun’

In terms of value, the Samsung Galaxy S9 appears to win out against Apple's latest offering.

"Capture the fun with Samsung as the company celebrates the launch of the new device".

On Friday, Samsung released invitations for the launch of a new device at a Galaxy event on October 11. A fresh report suggests that at least one of the variants of the Galaxy S10 will arrive with a dual camera setup at the front and a triple camera setup at the back.

The latest wearable also touts a built-in (and FDA-approved) EKG sensor to help diagnose heart diseases and other conditions. The Apple Watch Series 4 was shown on stage and appears to deliver a number of worthwhile updates to the wearable gadget.

There are no new leaks about an upcoming Galaxy device from the usual suspects on Twitter but at the beginning of Setpember, Ice Universe (a Samsung leaker with some reputation) cryptically Tweeted the following: "Samsung Camera Camera Camera Camera".

Samsung normally makes Galaxy A series announcements in December, so while slightly earlier than normal, an October unveiling wouldn't be completely off schedule. We think we know, however. Exactly what each of them will do remains to be seen. But it seems pretty likely it'll be camera-related.

Samsung has announced a surprising launch event for a Galaxy device it says will bring "more ways to express yourself than ever before". I don't know, the number of colours that the Galaxy S10 is available in.
