Aaron Rodgers torched the Bears yet again

The injury to Aaron Rodgers, playing in Green Bay and the return of Rodgers in the third quarter who happens to be one of the league's most iconic players spelled out a ideal storm. He completed 17 of 23 passes for 273 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Packers to a 24-23 victory in the biggest fourth-quarter comeback in Green Bay history.

"It's super painful, and you've just got to suck it up and play through it", Rodgers said at his locker. If you take Minnesota as a huge road favorite and Rodgers plays, you are NOT feeling good about life.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy was doubtful when asked about the chances of Rodgers making the clash at the weekend, but admitted they will take it day-by-day and make a decision on a date closer to the game.

"Yeah, well, you know he walks on water, so I'm sure he's going to play", Zimmer said Wednesday in a conference call.

When the Vikings and Packers get together, it's often anybody's game but if you're looking where Minnesota might have an advantage it's perhaps on offense where experienced receivers will square off with a young Green Bay secondary.

NFL Week 2 Odds, Picks, & Preview For Chicago Bears Vs
The last time these two teams met was just about three years ago in September of 2015, and Seattle celebrated a blowout of 26-0. The 6-0, 198-pound corner made two acrobatic interceptions of Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky in the first half.

"Obviously there's hope of him playing", McCarthy said. "He'll be given the whole week to get ready". The 14-year veteran said he does not need to practice to play.

Rodgers was favoring his injured leg during the game.

It wasn't until a workout on the morning of the Falcons game that coach Mike McCarthy knew Rodgers would play.

If Rodgers does play, it would be his first game against the Vikings since the two-time MVP broke his right collarbone following a hit from Minnesota linebacker Anthony Barr on October 15. He would end up playing in only seven games as the Packers missed the playoffs for the first time since 2008.

NOTES: Adams also missed practice after he said he hurt his shoulder when a Bears defensive back landed on him after making a 51-yard catch. He said he did not practice at all today and stayed at the stadium for treatment.
