Ruby Rose debuts her sensational Batwoman costume for The CW

She's got the trademark flaming red hair, the red Bat symbol, an incredibly dramatic cape, and a look on her face that seems to indicate that she is not one to be messed with.

Assuming Batwoman's inclusion in the Arrow, Supergirl and The Flash crossover goes off without a hitch, you might want to schedule some time into your TV schedule next year for a Batwoman series, since one is now in the works at The CW. The network is also planning a standalone Batwoman TV series for 2019.

Although details about the crossover are scarce, we do know a few things. Her appearance also marks an important addition for LGBTQ representation in the Arrowverse as a gay superhero, something Rose is justly proud of.

As we reported last month, the crossover's title, "Elseworlds", is a nod to a set of classic DC titles that tend to happen outside of the main storyline (like Gotham by Gaslight or Kingdom Come).
