Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Arrive in Sydney for Royal Tour!

The couple had no official functions on Monday following a 22-hour flight.

Large crowds gathered outside the Governor-General's home in the hopes of glimpsing the young royals.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expected to rest today ahead of their royal tour officially starting tomorrow.

Harry and Meghan were driven from the airport to Admiralty House, the official Sydney residence of Governor General Peter Cosgrove, who represents Australia's head of state, Queen Elizabeth II, Harry's grandmother.

Admiralty House has also been used to host other worldwide guests including US Presidents and the Pope.

Harry and Meghan are flying to Melbourne on Thursday, and members of the public will be able to meet the couple as they walk to Government House.

Meghan looked warm and snug in a navy blue Givenchy gown covered by a loosely fit matching coat, sending the internet into overdrive.

The couple will mark the games' launch and closing ceremony in Sydney. The evening includes a reception hosted by the Governor General.

The royal couple arrived in Sydney at 6.04am on a British Airways flight in a low-key arrival for the first of their 76 engagements across Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand to begin on Tuesday.
