Lyft's $299 All-Access service is available across the US

Lyft's $299 All-Access service is available across the US

The ridesharing company's All-Access Plan is now widely available in the USA, potentially saving you money if you regularly hail cars to get from A to B. In its finished form, the plan has you paying $299 per month to get 30 "free" trips of any type worth up to $15 each (you pay the difference above that), with a 5 percent discount on additional journeys.

The big picture: Lyft's new subscription plan is a solid value for frequent users although notably, unused rides don't roll over to the next month. "Americans who use the All-Access Plan for all of their personal auto needs can save up to 59 percent per month compared to owning a vehicle". As such, you'll want to do the math to find the break even point if you don't think you'll consume 30 rides per month. If a ride goes over $15, users simply pay the difference.

Lyft's ride-sharing rival Uber is also testing a monthly option called Ride Pass, which offers discounts on eligible rides by paying a one-time activation fee. It will be available to everyone in the United States by the end of the week.

All of this is speculation at this point, and there's plenty of time for Samsung to decide on the Note 10's final design. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is expected to arrive in August next year, a year after the arrival of the Galaxy Note 9 .

For $299 a month, All-Access Plan subscribers get 30 private and shared rides up to $15.
