Apple to announce new iPad Pro October 31

Apple to announce new iPad Pro October 31

Apple has declined to comment on the rumours, but the company has historically held standalone iPad launch events in October.

The Brooklyn event will be Apple's fourth major showcase this year, following the usual September iPhone launch and June's WWDC, plus the "field trip" event for education-focused iPads on March 27.

Although the teaser is cryptic, we know what to expect.

The invite does not specifically mention or tease the products that Apple will be announcing but it's safe to assume we are looking at some new iPads (Pro) and Mac models. When you visit the event page on the Apple site, the logo is changing each time.

Apple has more in store for everyone. Some have also suggested that Apple could launch a new version of Apple Pencil, alongside the new iPad Pros and MacBook Air. There is also talk this year's iPad Pro will switch over from Lightning to USB-C and be available in 11 and 12.9-inch display sizes. This will mark the first Apple product introduction to take place in NY since the company unveiled its digital textbooks service in 2012. The MacBook Air is even worse off running on 5th Gen Intel Core chips.

With a little over one week to go until the Apple Event happens, there will probably be a few leaks to come. Assuming these new products remain relatively affordable, they could do a lot to sway potential customers from Windows options that have pulled far ahead in features and performance.

It's widely believed that Apple will reveal a new iPad Pro and potentially some updates to its Macbook lineup.

Apart from these two products, there is also buzz about a Mac Mini which has been in dire need of an upgrade for years. Similar to iPad Pro, the new Mac will embrace slimmer bezels and will be packed with the high-resolution Retina display. Apple introduced the A12 Bionic chipset with the iPhone XS and XS Max.

Which instantly got us thinking that an updated pair of AirPods could be on the way.
