Spacecraft breaks record for coming closest to Sun

It was only yesterday that NASA announced its do-it-all star-studying machine has gotten closer to the Sun than any spacecraft before it, and now the probe has broken another record. "The spacecraft passed the current record of 26.55 million miles from the Sun's surface on October 29, 2018, at about 1:04 p.m. EDT", said the official update from NASA.

The device broke the record, Helios 2, which is close to the Sun on 42,73 million kilometers in 1976, reports the Country with reference to NASA.

Another record is in sight for the Parker Solar Probe. The spaceship is "expected to break the record for fastest spacecraft traveling relative to the Sun on October 29 at about 10:54 pm EDT (Tuesday 0254 GMT)", NASA said. Automatic probe name Eugene Parker broke the record approaches the Sun set with other spacecraft.

According to the concept of American scientists, in the period to June 2025 the probe 24 will make a revolution in its orbit around the Sun, accelerating to the speed of 724 thousand miles per hour. "It's a proud moment for the team", said Andy Driesman, project manager for the mission at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab.

World's Last Wilderness May Vanish
According to the study, "87 percent of the ocean has been modified by the direct effects of human activities". They can also establish protected areas to slow the spread of industrial activity into wilderness.

Alcohol in nabbed JAL pilot 10 times UK limit
The new system, which is already in place for Japanese domestic flights, will send test results back to Japan in real time. JAL said the level of alcohol in the pilot's system was suspected to have exceeded the legal limit in Britain.

Martin Lawrence and Will Smith Confirm New 'Bad Boys' Film
However, earlier this year, Smith finally started showing some public optimism himself for the project and now here we are. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence have confirmed that Bad Boys 3 is officially going ahead.

How did the Parker Solar Probe's journey of 90 million miles begin? And it will keep getting closer to the sun until it flies through the corona, or outer atmosphere, for the first time next week, passing within 15 million miles (24 million kilometers) of the solar surface.

The Parker Solar Probe is having one heck of a week. As it gets nearer to the star's surface, the probe will face formidable heat and radiation, which it will fend off with a maneuverable shield always pointed toward the flaming ball of fire at the center of our Solar System.

Earlier Japanese probe "Hayabusa-2" successfully landed on the asteroid Ryugu two robots-researchers. NASA explains:The DSN sends a signal to the spacecraft, which then retransmits it back to the DSN, allowing the team to determine the spacecraft's speed and position based on the timing and characteristics of the signal. The data will help the scientist to understand the sun. These observations will add key knowledge to our understanding of the sun, where changing conditions can propagate out into the solar system, affecting Earth and other planets.
