The recall is due to springs in the engine valve that could fracture and cause the vehicle to stall, the carmakers said on Thursday. The recall will also include the FR-S sports coupe call now called the Toyota 86.

Now, the companies have named the popular Subaru model Forester as well as Toyota's 86 sports auto, as additionally impacted models.
