Target unveils early look into its Black Friday deals

Target announced its Thanksgiving and Black Friday hours Thursday, along with a list of enticing deals and a "skip-the-line" checkout experience.

As the holidays rear their head, it is time to start thinking about what kind of deals are ahead for Black Friday. Black Friday deals will be available online starting at 12:01 a.m. CT. Kohl's is hosting a one-day only Black Friday event today, with promotions throughout Thanksgiving week. It will also offer its lowest price of the season - $29.99 - on video games including Madden 19 and Density 2.

Target is also offering a new mobile checkout option aimed at giving customers a more convenient experience when shopping.

Some of Walmart's Black Friday deals start on November 8. The trees are available for preorder now and deliveries will start as early as Black Friday.

Target is also offering "drive up" on Black Friday and a 20% off future purchase coupon if you spend $50 or more online or in-store on Friday, November 23. These maps clearly identify where specific Black Friday deals are located within each Target store, allowing guests to effectively plan their shopping trip. The Early Access Pass launched in stores on Thursday. Order Pickup and Drive Up are available for select REDcard Early Access Sale items. Target is bringing back its popular Weekend Deals, when twice as many guests shop compared to the average weekday.

Still, having a physical store remains an advantage for retailers because 47 percent of consumers visit stores to see and touch products they want to later buy online, Adobe said. Already, the company is offering sales on a slew of products, including some Deal of the Day offers that will expire at day's end and be replaced with other sales tomorrow.
