At least 6, including deputy, injured in shooting at California bar

Police told the Los Angeles Times that at least 30 shots were fired at the Borderline Bar & Grill in Thousand Oaks, about 40 miles west of Los Angeles.

Police and emergency crews flooded the scene.

Multiple people were seen being led out of the bar by deputies.

Hedge said he managed to run out the front door as the shooter made his way to the back of the restaurant.

Reports say the suspect may have used smoke grenades as well as a gun in the attack.

Another witness said he saw a security guard being shot as well as a female cashier, before he also fled.

Terrified people hid under tables and others smashed windows open with chairs to escape.
